In 2003 Caroline and her husband, Adam, decided to leave their comfortable life in Kent and, with their four young children, headed off on a new adventure to France. Summers spent holidaying by the Mediterranean had instilled in them a love of outdoor life but looking back, this was probably madness as they had little French and no real idea of what they were coming to. Nonetheless, they set off in their old Landrover and settled in the beautiful countryside of SW France. 17 years on they have no regrets. Caroline, a qualified teacher for over 25 years loves her work running PMC Studio France. She enjoys meeting fascinating people from all over the world who come to learn or simply enjoy a relaxing holiday.

After too many years working in global consulting and finance, Adam jumped at the chance to re-balance his life more in favour of family. Adams passion for food and wine was cultivated during these early years and he has honed his skills over the last two decades living in the “Garden of France”, an area rich in gastronomic delights, fabulous wines and amazing armagnacs. For Adam, cooking is a journey through all the senses and you won't just spend time sampling the local produce but understand how it is made and the traditions behind it. Adam blends a simple Irish approach to cooking with flavours and skills acquired from travels across the world. From conception to plate, Adam will teach you how to prepare and serve fantastic meals that will seem to magically appear in front of your guests, allowing you to enjoy the party too!
